How your details are kept
Car Service Center, 252 General Beyers Street, Pretoria North, is responsible for the details you send through this website. This page says what we keep, why, and what you can ask for, as South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) requires.
What we keep
When you send a request: your name, your phone number, your car (make, model, year and registration if you give it) and what you tell us about it. When we do work for you, we add what was done, quotes, invoices and payments.
Why
Only to quote you, book your car in, do the work, invoice you, and, if you agree, remind you when your car is due for its next service. We never sell your details or use them for advertising.
Who sees them
Only the workshop's own team. The website and its records run on Cloudflare, which stores them for us and may not use them for anything else.
The website assistant
The assistant's answers come from an AI running on Cloudflare. The website does not keep the conversation. Nothing you type there reaches the workshop unless you send it as a request.
How long
For as long as you are our customer. Invoices are kept for five years, because the law (SARS) requires it. Everything else is deleted when you ask.
What you can ask for
To see what we have about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Ask us on WhatsApp or call +27 78 116 5579. If you are unhappy with how we handled your details, you may complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
